In 1977, Andy Sr. and his wife Rose Ann opened the doors to what has become the most successful flooring retailer in the New England area. AJ Rose started as your typical small mom-and-pop floor covering store, selling only carpet and working hard day-by-day to grow.
Over the last almost 50 years, the company has expanded into every major type of floor covering including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile, with four convenient Massachusetts locations. With stores ranging from 8,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet and a shop from home option, AJ Rose is now proud to say that we are the largest floor covering-only chain in New England.
Andy and Rose Ann transitioned leadership to their sons, John and AJ, in the early 2000’s. Under the leadership of John and AJ, AJ Rose has continued to grow and innovate, while maintaining the sense of comfort and trust you expect from a family-owned and -operated business.
